WHO ARE YOU?

Image result for WHO ARE YOU
Who are you, friend?

The above question is very common to you and I. Every one of us must have come across it at one point in time or the other ever since we grew up and started having the sense of reasoning.
Am so sure you must have come across two people in a serious quarrel section advancing to the next stage of a fight and you get to hear “Who are you” at intervals. In addition, if you have ever gotten to a police or military checkpoint at odd hours you get to hear the same question. We can then firmly come to a point of unison that the above question is a means of identifying who a person is or what a person is stuffed of.
I now ask you, who are you?
I am not trying to ask for your name but for your personality. Answering the son or daughter of a governor or a highly placed person is nice but far better if you really understand whom you are beyond the name recognition.
However, in case you do not know who you are or what God deposited in you right from creation that you should be, then hear me and hear me clearly. God did not waste his time during creation to create a fool or a nobody. Yes, I understand that the situations around you and the people you associate with have given you a tag “NO-BODY” due to how hopeless you may appear to them.  Your situation might have given you a new name and covered your real identity. That does not stop what God has made you be from creation.
Yes, everything in the now might be moving in the opposite direction and you are beginning to come to terms with the accolade “Good-For-Nothing”. No sir! No ma! you are not a good for nothing person. You are good for something. Go ahead, discover the greatness in you, and do a harnessing of your strength.

STEP UP AND MOVE ON

JUST MOVE ON

A man's most loved donkey fell into a deep pit early hours of a faithful Tuesday. He tried everything within his capability to bring out the donkey but regardless of how hard he tried, his effort yielded no positive result.
The best he could do was to bury the donkey in the pit and move on: but little did he know that it was a way of getting the donkey out of the pit.
The more soil he poured onto the donkey from above the pit, the donkey feels the heap on its body, shakes it off, and climbs higher. As the man continued in his effort to cover up the donkey by pouring more soil into the pit, the donkey keeps coming out.
The more the heap of soil was poured, the higher it rose. By two hours later, the donkey was touching the surface of the earth and the man was glad that his donkey was out of the pit.
Dear reader, your life might be likened to that donkey in the above story that life has so battered and kept in a pit of hopeless and pains. It’s as though there is no way out and you are almost been buried in life’s storm and rising tides. The pit could be very deep, dreary and dark, and no rays of light for a bright future. Your every day might have been coming up with dark moments of rejection and loneliness.

CREATE THAT IMPACT, YOU ARE NEEDED!

Image result for IMPACT
Be impactful

From my previous article titled “common sense is not common but scarce,” I ended that piece by asking few questions and the last one is what I will dwell on in this article: Can you be the change that the world needs? If you missed it, you can get it here COMMON SENSE IS NOT COMMON
Change is been believed to be a constant thing in life although this constant change could be either positive or negative depending on who is involved in effecting that change.
The greatest man/woman on earth is not always the strongest (in terms of physical strength) but the most impactful person. A legend is a person whose life and times on earth still rings like a volcanic eruption from the archive of history until in the now. The impact of either the negative or the positive is both creating impacts. However, the question is “WHAT IMPACT ARE YOU CREATING?”
Of recent, I stopped the constant wishing of “Happy birthdays” on Facebook except those really close to me who may want to feel I hate them that is why I didn’t wish them a happy birthday.
What is happy about your birthday? Oh! I am not ungrateful to God who has kept you alive oh but aside been alive, what else are you contributing to life? Yes God added one more year to you but I want to really ask, the ones He has been adding before, of what use has it been to humanity, people around you and to God who added the years?
Sorry if am trying to sound harsh here. Am not against the birthday celebration, in fact, my 25th birthday comes up in mid-October. It is not about me been 25 (silver jubilee) but has my been alive really added any silver strips to the life of anyone?. Are mine really contributing anything to humanity or destroying the impact created by others.
Sir/ma, you are celebrating, close to celebrating or have celebrated the Silver jubilee (25 years celebration) or golden jubilee (50 years celebration) of your life but has your life really added any silver or gold to other’s life and humanity? I have decided not to live a no-body kind of life, at least my life should encourage someone, I should make someone happy, and I should make someone improve. Someone should look at me and say, I am here today because he encouraged me, he prayed for me, rebuked me from doing evil. Yes! that’s what I want! not just counting age and not be useful and resourceful.
You hide your age from people, what is so special about your age? Ok fine, hide your age but can you let us see the impact you have created so far? Your age is just a number; let’s see the value of that number. Stop counting age and start counting impact!
When God created man, he gave man four major assignments to do on earth in Genesis 1 vs. 27 -28.
·        Been fruitful
·        Multiplicative ability
·        Replenishing and
·        Subduing the earth
There was no room for subtraction from the earth’s value but rather been in a state of contributing. Therefore, I think the world needs your own input. Yes, I know we are all patiently waiting to die and go to heaven where there are joy and happiness but may I also inform you that the bible that is guiding you to heaven is but the impactful works that God did through men and with men.
Don’t die a nonentity, God did not waste His precious time to create a fool that will just waste time on earth but he took out his time to wonderfully create you. The world needs your contribution. You are important and useful. Add possible values to lives before your death.

it's time to know WHO ARE YOU?

Poverty Is A Sickness, Deal With It

Image result for POVERTY
Poverty is a sickness, deal with it
Poverty is defined as the general state of scarcity or the state in which one lacks a certain amount of material possessions or money in his or her possession. It is a concept which cuts across many areas of life, which includes social, economic, spiritual and political elements
The lack of money seems to be more source of evil in our society than the love of money today. People go into so much evil because of the lack of money but no evil is justifiable for going into because of the lack of money.
Indeed, I can say clearly that poverty is a sickness that has crippled many dreams and visions, and only a few are determined to come out of that sickness called poverty.
Poverty has killed many dreams, aspirations and until you treat poverty as a sickness and handle it the way you handle Malaria, you are entitled to remain poverty-ridden and your life a good definition of what poverty is.
That you were born poor is not a license to continue in poverty and hand over poverty to the generation coming after you. It is not a crime to be born poor but it becomes an evil thing when one decides to live poor and die poor.
That you were born without a silver spoon does not mean you cannot get the golden spoon for your children and generations unborn.

Holiness + Poverty = Lazarus kind of life although going to heaven
Also
Holiness + True Riches= Isaac kind of life that was richer than a nation yet was going to heaven too like Lazarus the beggar.

Persistence And Determination

This is a real life story of engineer John Roebling building the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, USA back in 1870. The bridge was completed in 24th May, 1883, after 13 years.
In 1870, a creative engineer named John Roebling was inspired by an idea to build a spectacular bridge connecting New York with the Long Island. However bridge building experts throughout the world thought that this was an impossible feat and told Roebling to forget the idea. It just could not be done. It was not practical. It had never been done before.
Roebling could not ignore the vision he had in his mind of this bridge. He thought about it all the time and he knew deep in his heart that it could be done. He just had to share the dream with someone else. After much discussion and persuasion he managed to convince his son Washington, an up and coming engineer, that the bridge in fact could be built.
Working together for the first time, the father and son developed concepts of how it could be accomplished and how the obstacles could be overcome. With great excitement and inspiration, and the headiness of a wild challenge before them, they hired their crew and began to build their dream bridge.
The project started well, but when it was only a few months underway a tragic accident on the site took the life of John Roebling. Washington was also injured and left with a certain amount of brain damage, which resulted in him not being able to talk or walk.
“We told them so.” “Crazy men and their crazy dreams.” “It’s foolish to chase wild visions.”
Everyone had a negative comment to make and felt that the project should be scrapped since the Roeblings were the only ones who knew how the bridge could be built.
In spite of his handicap Washington was never discouraged and still had a burning desire to complete the bridge and his mind was still as sharp as ever. He tried to inspire and pass on his enthusiasm to some of his friends, but they were too daunted by the task.
As he lay on his bed in his hospital room, with the sunlight streaming through the windows, a gentle breeze blew the flimsy white curtains apart and he was able to see the sky and the tops of the trees outside for just a moment.
It seemed that there was a message for him not to give up. Suddenly an idea hit him. All he could do was move one finger and he decided to make the best use of it. By moving this, he slowly developed a code of communication with his wife.
He touched his wife’s arm with that finger, indicating to her that he wanted her to call the engineers again. Then he used the same method of tapping her arm to tell the engineers what to do. It seemed foolish but the project was under way again.
For 13 years Washington tapped out his instructions with his finger on his wife’s arm, until the bridge was finally completed. Today the spectacular Brooklyn Bridge stands in all its glory as a tribute to the triumph of one man’s indomitable spirit and his determination not to be defeated by circumstances. It is also a tribute to the engineers and their team work, and to their faith in a man who was considered mad by half the world. It stands too as a tangible monument to the love and devotion of his wife who for 13 long years patiently decoded the messages of her husband and told the engineers what to do.
Perhaps this is one of the best examples of a never-say-die attitude that overcomes a terrible physical handicap and achieves an impossible goal.
Often when we face obstacles in our day-to-day life, our hurdles seem very small in comparison to what many others have to face. The Brooklyn Bridge shows us that dreams that seem impossible can be realised with determination and persistence, no matter what the odds are.

Believe In Yourself

There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren’t the way you had hoped they would be.
That’s when you have to tell yourself that things will get better. There are times when people disappoint you and let you down.
But those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself.
There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life, and it is up to you to accept them.
Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are.
So when the days come that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be.
Because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you.

BE ENTHUSISTIC

Not every person has enthusiasm. Not every person is moved sincerely by what they do. What's more, that is to a great degree deplorable. Be that as it may, luckily, you dislike every other person.

The triumphant associations in each industry are loaded with energetic, vocal, dynamic individuals (likewise, we have a ton of fun doing what we do). To us, it isn't even truly "work" as in it streams normally and feels more like an imaginative opportunity.

I believe that genuinely energetic individuals are not comprehended by a great part of the world. I'll give you one illustration: I don't stare at the television any longer. I tell individuals this, and it feels like a considerable lot of them rationally record me in a class of being irregular or socially degenerate. A great many people can't understand the world without TV.

This is shocking, and by and large pitiful. We are at such a staggering defining moment in the public eye, and the world is improving because of individuals with enthusiasm.
Be passionate about what you do if its right and don't be intimidated by what others are doing, only strive to be the best that you can be.
Aim for the top and work towards it. Others may misunderstand you but go on with your passion and what gives you joy but only ensure that it is something that is right

LEAVE YOUR COMFORT ZONE AND THINK GREATNESS

leave your comfort zones

The brain remains in a state of dormancy when life is so comfortable and so cool. Leave that your comfort zone so that your brain that actually stays at work. Those whose lives are so comfortable tend to be lazy and not allowing the brain to think because life is so much in order and so calm to them. But if one must be impactful and ready to affect others then such a one must be ready to allow the brain begin to think alright and straight.
The brain has lots of things to offer but it will come to full manifestation if one does really task the brain with “useful” activities. At times, I get to think out some things and I wonder why that idea hasn’t come out for long until now, I discovered that I did not allow my brain to be at work.
My friend until you remove your thinking and thought-line from “I  have people that can help me" to “there are people in this life that I should be helping in the nearest future from now", you will never think of solutions to life problems and difficulties. You will never think of how to deal with poverty, knowing that it is a sickness that is capable of crumbling one’s vision and dreams in life until you leave your comfort zone.
Try to put yourself in a position to help others in the nearest future and not in the position that there are people that will come to my aid to help me whenever am in need. There will not always be people to help you but you can always be a source to help others.
Until you are ready to take responsibility of taking care of others, you may never see the need to stop depending on people for help all the time. Depending on people is not something bad or evil per say but your life should not depend solely on people but rather your dependence on people should be for some support and not for  "everything".
Those people whom you are depending solely on today will die someday or might not be in the position to help you out when you are in need. Try living and building a life that is not dependent on the success of others but rather let your succeeding in life be the reason for others to smile in life and a place to succour in time of need.
Build yourself up and come to the position that a few years from now that there are people I should be able to help financially, morally, spiritually and otherwise. Build up capacity to handle the problems of others, build up your capacity to be a problem solver and not one that compounds or create more problems for people.
Be a solution carrier and not a problem creator. Don't  be a consumer of things only  but be a producer and contributor to the life of people, to your environment and nation as a whole
Think wide, think of ways to help others so that they will ever be grateful to God that you were created and that they met you in life.
Make a decision today to impact lives and don’t remain stagnant in life
